Cotton Brazil Makes Debut at Kingpins Denim Tradeshow

Cotton Brazil is excited to be a part of the iconic denim tradeshow Kingpins for the first time!

What is Kingpins?

Kingpins is a denim tradeshow known to fashion enthusiasts and industry insiders alike. First launched in New York in 2004 as a jean supply chain show, Kingpins has “grown [their] mission to connect the community and have taken [their] concept around the world,” as noted on their website. This exciting show provides a hub for sharing innovations, ideas, and connections within the international denim community.

Where is the show held?

Kingpins hosts shows in New York, Hong Kong, Hangzhou, and Amsterdam, including one this week!

The upcoming show will be held on April 24-25th at Sugar Factory in Amsterdam (Kristalpromenade 7, 1165 PD Halfweg, Netherlands), and this year, Cotton Brazil will have a booth!

Who will be there?

Denim industry professionals, including designers and product developers, as well as global denim brands, suppliers, and influencers, will be in attendance.

This exclusive denim trade show boasts creativity and innovation and is invitation-only. Attendees and booth holders receive or request invites prior to the show, as noted in the show entry rules section of the Kingpins website. “Everyone who enters the show floor must be on our guest list, registered through Kingpins, and present their QR code as confirmation of registration” (Kingpins).

Since 2019, this invite-only event has considered corporate social responsibility (CSR) standards while extending the invite. “Kingpins Show is committed to accelerate innovation and change within the denim supply chain to advance the Decade of Action to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. Supported by the Conscious Fashion Campaign, in collaboration with the United Nations Office for Partnerships, we educate and mobilize the fashion sector to action solutions for social, economic, and environmental change” (Kingpins).

Our booth is a brand activation that helps to reacquaint our raw material with the global denim community.

Fashion at Kingpins: Trend and Technology

According to the show program for the April Amsterdam show, a number of seminars will be held each day among the vast range of information, innovation, and inspiration shared at Kingpins. Panels and presentations from designers and other denim industry professionals include “Future Fits Forum,” “AI and Denim: Innovations Shaping the Industry,” “Digital Product Passport in Denim,” and “Trend A/W 25/26.”
