As of 08/Nov, 77% of Brazilian cotton from the 2024 crop had been ginned and 75% had been HVI tested . Planting for the 2025 crop began this week.
Exports in October reached 280.9 thousand tonnes , totalling 562.2 thousand tonnes in the current 2024/25 season. This is the best performance ever recorded in Brazilian history for the first three months of the marketing year.
China, Vietnam and Pakistan imported 340 thousand tonnes this season ( 60% of the accumulated total ).
