Brazil exported 132.8 thousand tonnes of cotton in June 2025, a 17.2% reduction compared to that shipped in June 2024.
Bangladesh, Turkey and Vietnam were the main buyers for the month, accounting for 72,933 tonnes, or 55% of total shipments.
Cumulative exports for the 2024/25 marketing year reached 2.708 million tonnes by the end of June, an increase of 7.7% compared to the same period in 2023/24.
