Brazilian group reaffirms the quality and sustainability of its raw materials
Strengthening the connection between production and Brazil’s textile industry. With this goal, Cotton Brazil — the international promotion program for Brazilian cotton — will take part for the first time in Première Vision Paris 2026, from February 3 to 5, at the Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte. The Brazilian group will present the concept “Brazil: from farm to fashion,” which showcases the entire Brazilian textile value chain, from cotton farming to garment manufacturing. The stand will be located in Hall 5, number 5P64.
Première Vision Paris has established itself as Europe’s leading trade fair and knowledge exchange platform for the textile and materials industry. The theme of this edition, “Territories of savoir-faire (The landscapes of know-how),” directly connects with the Brazilian textile value chain, in which every stage is guided by sustainability, traceability, and quality — from planting the seed that will become cotton fiber to the final product on store shelves.
Tradition and innovation have always defined the Brazilian textile value chain, the largest and most complete in the West. As a result of this legacy, Brazil is now a global leader in segments such as denim, beachwear and homewear.
Brazilian ‘savoir-faire’ — In this context, Cotton Brazil takes part in this edition of the event with the concept “Brazil: from farm to fashion,” representing the integrated construction of the country’s entire textile chain. Brazil’s history in producing high-quality fibers and fabrics is long, with a tradition of savoir-faire spanning more than five centuries.
Cotton Brazil is a partnership between Abrapa, the Brazilian Cotton Producers Association, ApexBrasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, and Anea, the Brazilian Cotton Exporters Association. Brazil’s presence at the event is organized by Texbrasil, the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, a partnership between Abit, the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association, and ApexBrasil.
For Gustavo Piccoli, President of Abrapa, “Being at Première Vision alongside Abit and ApexBrasil demonstrates the strong synergies between Brazil’s cotton and fashion chains. Our participation comes at a particularly important moment for Brazilian cotton, as we seek to further strengthen dialogue with brands and retailers around the world and present Brazilian cotton and the Brazilian textile industry as a reliable, high-quality, traceable, and sustainably produced source.”
The joint space of Brazil at Première Vision Paris will feature a sample forum with 14 Brazilian exhibitors, as well as a dedicated area to welcome visitors, buyers, members of the press, business leaders, government representatives, and key opinion leaders. The space will also showcase fabrics from companies affiliated with the partner entities, in addition to garments by Brazilian designers made from 100% traceable Brazilian cotton, previously presented at São Paulo Fashion Week.
Special talk
In addition to the activities and programming, on February 3 the group will take part in the talk “From farm to fashion: a tradition of innovation across the Brazilian textile value chain,” reaffirming the quality and sustainability of Brazilian raw materials. The session will be led by Marcelo Duarte, Director of International Relations at Abrapa, and Fernando Valente Pimentel, CEO and President Emeritus of Abit. The event is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., in the Pitches Area, Hall 6.
“The strategic collaboration between the production sector and the textile value chain is a distinctive strength of Brazil, enabling joint action in sustainability, continuous advances in quality, and the development of traceability programs. It is this connection between the cotton grown in the field and the demands of industry and fashion that we will showcase at the event,” says Duarte.
