Interested in understanding more about how Brazil has become the largest exporter and third largest producer of cotton in the world? Join the Brazilian Cotton School, a learning program about the Brazilian cotton production chain, starting in the fields through to the textile mills. The class of 2026 is now accepting applications and has places available, especially for international students.

The course will run from March 9th to 27th, 2026, and enrolments will remain open until October 30th of this year. Depending on the demand from international students, classes will be provided with simultaneous translation into English.

In all, there will be more than 120 hours of content, split between one week of classes in Brasília and two in São Paulo. The program covers agricultural production, ginning, fibre quality, logistics, finance, futures contracts and arbitration, all presented by industry experts.

Students will also have access to technical visits to cotton farms, the Brazilian Reference Center for Cotton Testing (CBRA) and the Port of Santos.

About Brazilian Cotton School

The Brazilian Cotton School began in 2024 and is ready to run its third edition in 2026. The course is held in partnership with the Brazilian Cotton Growers Association (Abrapa), the Brazilian Textile and Garmenting Industry Association (Abit), the National Cotton Shippers Association (Anea) and the Brazilian Commodities Exchange (BBM).
