As of December 12th, 89% of the 2024 cotton crop had been ginned in Brazil and 88% of the cotton bales produced had been HVI tested.
2025 Crop Planting: 5% of the area expected to be planted for the 2025 crop had been sown by the time this report was closed.
In November, Brazil exported 299.5 thousand tonnes of cotton, achieving a total of 861.8 thousand tonnes in the 2024/25 marketing year (Aug/24 to Nov/24). This remains as the best performance in Brazilian history in the first five months of the marketing year.
